Hi there, I am Southsaxon. I originate from the land of the southsaxon's which is now known as Kent and Sussex. I am at present residing in Richards Bay South Africa but will be returning to my homeland in October My Wife(Ladysax) and I have made the decision that now the Children are grown up its time to return to the land of our birth. The first record of my family name is in a small village called LINDFIELD in sussex around the year 1290. I will reserch that further once we get back. | ||||||||||||||||

The Saxons's were invited over to England around the 4th century to help fight off the folk from the north. Eventually they turned against their hosts the Britons(Celts) and drove them to the west. They first settled in the areas now know as Kent and Sussex. (Right) is a view of a small part of Heaven called Kent. Its known as St Margaret's Bay And is just up the Coast from my home town Dover. | St margarets Bay | ||||||||||||||||
